Rick's in Korea: February 2010

CDI took the entire staff skiing in Muju this past weekend. Muju is one of the top ski resorts in Korea and since I'd never been skiing before, the trip promised to be an exciting time.

It definitely turned out to be an exciting trip, although not in the way I'd expected.

I managed about 2 minutes on the slopes before I went into the safety net on the side of the slopes where my skis stopped suddenly... but I didn't. The result is a torn MCL and a damaged ACL in my right knee. I'll be in a cast for 3-4 weeks and in rehab for 6 months after that. But hey, if you're gonna hurt something-- do it having fun!
